National Tanning Expo 2022

The National Tanning Expo is an annual convention for manufacturers, salon owners, and other professionals active within the indoor tanning industry. As a staff designer for Four Seasons Sales & Service, I was heavily involved in the promotion of this event each year. In 2022, the event experienced a much anticipated venue change to Nashville, TN and I was given the honor of Senior Designer and Art Director for the project. Our principal focus for this campaign was to highlight the excitement on the venue change and therefore all of the characteristics of Nashville, TN.

We began notifying our customers and vendors a full year before any details were known regarding the National Tanning Expo of 2022. What we did know was that we were moving the event to Nashville, TN and we wanted future attendees to become aware of this as soon as possible. Therefore, I was tasked with creating an image that conveyed this message in a way that grabbed their attention a full year prior to the event. We wanted to get the word out. I could think of no better way to announce our move than to use a guitar pick as a location pin on map.
